Dream of dead dog

A nightmare I was having, woke me up around 1:30 am, and I realized the dream was about a dead dog. I thought of all the ways I could kill the dog, and it was about how it was my dog I didn't kill, it was someone else's dog. I had a dream about it about 5 years ago, and I have never stopped thinking about it.

I had a similar nightmare, but it was about a dead cat, with me waking up in fear and panic, not realizing I was dreaming.

This has happened to me more than once. It's really upsetting, and it always happens while I'm asleep and dreaming of my cat.

Re: Dreams of dead dog

Dreams about pets that have passed away, especially cats or dogs, are common, and can happen at any time of night. If you are having nightmares about a pet that has passed, you probably do not want to think too much about the event that happened, unless you want to feel sad. Otherwise, you will start to feel guilty or regretful about not taking better care of your pet before it died, and this can make you feel worse about the situation. I think that it can also be a healthy sign to have bad dreams about a pet that has died, because it means you are letting go and healing.

Oh man I hate this!

My cats are long gone, but I still have dreams of them. I think it's because I still think about them sometimes.

Dreams about animals are a big deal for me. I'm not a huge animal lover, I mean I am but it's not a big deal to me. I do have dreams about my pets that have passed and they are mostly pretty bad ones. I'll wake up thinking I don't want to go to sleep cause my cat is having a seizure and is about to die and I can't help him.

I'm telling you, hyenas ARE canines too! Many biologists died to bring us this information! Why won't you honor their deaths?! What I did to their families?!

Oh man, this one scared me when I had it. I was walking down the street with my family and we saw a really skinny, underfed dog walk out of a house with a really nice car in the driveway. I felt so sorry for it and walked up to it to see if I could help it. Then, I saw it wasn't a dog, it was a person (my boyfriend). The dog was so thin and emaciated that when I started to try to get him help, he started to crumble to the ground. I panicked and tried to run back to my family, but I couldn't go that fast. I ran back, but the dog was dead on the ground.

And then I started thinking about all the animals that I've known that have died or died of something (mostly from neglect), and I just got so sad and started crying. I had this feeling that I should do something to help the poor dog, but then I was like, "No, I can't help it, it's dead, it's dead." So I just sat there and watched the whole thing. I'm not even sure I said anything, but I was just standing there crying.

Dreams of dead pets can happen at any time of night. It is important to try to not think about the death itself, and if you are not emotionally ready to do so, try to think about other things instead. There's no reason to feel guilty if a dog dies, but if you start feeling sorry for your pet, it can turn into regret, which can be very upsetting.

I had a dream recently, but I remember that in this one a dog actually did die. I felt bad because
